The steel fiber inclusions are provided to minimize the initial formation and progressive propagation of drying shrinkage cracks and micro cracks. SFRC is ultra high-strength concrete with unique properties including high flexural and shear strength. It is also strong in compression, durable and has high impact resistance. The fibres have increased the load-carrying capacity of the externally bonded ties by approximately 70%. Similar results were obtained for the beams reinforced with steels bars: the bearing capacity was increased by almost 25%
